Noel à Chambéry et Grenoble

Bonjour a tous,

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends. I had a great time with my host family. I spent 3 awsome days meeting Béa side of the family,

hanging out and eating. Went to church Christmas eve, and later that night we had " le réveillon ". In France we eat turkey for Christmas, and also the biggest meal is lunch on the 25th.

Une expérience pas comme les autres

I usually stay overnight in La tour du Pin when I work on Thursdays, so last week the teacher i was staying with that night, told me she had a supride dish for me. And that dish was FROGS.... I ATE FROG legs.

If you like rabbit you like frog. So when I get home if anyone wants to learn how to prepare frogs the French way you know who to call.

This family have a little one Gabe's age and 2 girls, they are so cute. We had fun that night.

Fun times

SUGAR COOKIES avec les Petits

On Thursday I made cookies with one of my classes.
They had so much fun mixing all the ingredients. And the next day they shared their work with the rest of the school. Just wanted to share some of the pictures with you all.

Depuis la dernière fois

Coucou,

Well last week I went to another small group. Last year I met a couple missionary kids at Bethel and their parents are missionaries in Grenoble. I have been in contact with the mom and she gave me the names of couple young people at their church. So last week I met them for the first time and they invited me to their group. And on Sunday she picked me and I visited their church and after we went to lunch. It’s another great connection and I am so thankful.

So on Thursday I wasn’t able to head to my first school do the weather. It’s started snowing on Wednesday and the tracks were not ready for the next day. It didn’t really snow in Grenoble but the trains weren’t able to get to my destination.

So until next year, I am heading out next Tuesday with my host family and I am excited for my 1st Christmas in France.
A bientôt

Last day of November almost everywhere in France the market is open. The marché is open from the 30th - 24th of December. You can find almost everything you need there. Its so fun to see all the little cabins and tents

the smell of chocolate, spiced bread, Christmas Tea and Christmas decorations, candles, flowers, Christmas trees, wooden toys, music box. I had fun wlaking around and listening to French Christmas songs.
